Headline data

Data source: Federal Statistical Office (Destatis)

Geographic coverage: Germany

Unit of measurement: Percentage

Note: The data basis is the official land survey. By the end of 2016, the real estate cadastre had been converted to ALKIS. The changeover also introduced a new system of types of use, which has an impact on the comparability of the data over time. The conversion to ALKIS was carried out at different times in the federal states and spanned a total period of nine years.

The international organisations (custodian agencies) that are responsible for the respective SDG-indicator publish methodical explanations for the indicator - the so-called global metadata.

Here, national time series that fit the global metadata best as well as their comparability with the global metadata are presented. Please find further methodical and country-specific information in the related national metadata.
